Composting 🍌

The children are getting very creative with our loose parts play. Look at some of the wonderful pictures and patterns they have made. We love how the children have incorporated natural materials into their work from our outside area 🌸 🍃 🪵 🪨 🐚

We are now back open after a nice little break over Christmas 🎄.

Ocean small world play 🐋🐠🦑🦀🦈🌊

Last month the children at Bangalee wanted to make a ‘real erupting volcano’ so they worked together over 2 weeks to make a paper-mache volcano. The children mixed the glue together, ripped up strips of newspaper, made the base of the volcano and then painted it. We gathered sticks, leaves, sand, rocks, dinosaurs and anything else we thought would make it look like a real volcano. We used bi-carb soda, red food colouring and brown vinegar to create the eruption. The children were very happy with their creation 🌋 🦕 🦖
